Expert bodies of the Centre Expert bodies of the Gerontological Centre “Novi Sad” include: Expert collegium that acts at the level of the Institution The Expert Collegium composed of the Director, Assistant Director and managers of work units and services is established with the task to consider expert and other issues necessary for the work of the Centre. Depending on the need and issues that are being considered, other employees can also participate in the work of the Expert Collegium. Expert teams established at the level of Work Units An expert team of each Home within the Centre takes care of admission and accommodation of beneficiaries; an expert team is composed of the head (manager) of the Work Unit of Home type accommodation, who is the leader of an expert team, social worker, doctor and head nurse, and, if necessary, it can be widened to include work therapist and physical therapist. Committee of specialised professional staff of Gerontological Centre “Novi Sad” The Committee of specialised professional staff of Gerontological Centre considers theoretical and practical issues of functioning of the system of social protection of elderly people. It creates and implements the education and training programme for specialised professionals. The Committee of specialised professional staff is composed of social workers, psychologists, pedagogues, expert in political science, organiser of cultural-entertainment life and PR organiser.
